About Rabbi Greenwald
Rabbi Greenwald joined Politz Day School as Head of School, in July 2021. He brought with him a wealth of experience from his previous position as Head of School at Halpern Akiva Academy, Calgary, Alberta.
He received Semicha from the Rabbinical Seminary of America, and a Masters of Education degree from Touro University.
Rabbi Greenwald lives in Cherry Hill with his wife Yael and has 8 children, bli ayin harah.
About Mrs. Gordesky
Mrs. Gordesky joined Politz in June 2015 and has since become the General Studies Principal. Previously Mrs. Gordesky was a classroom teacher, teaching a variety of Elementary Grades. She has written language arts curriculum and mentored teachers. She received a Bachelor’s degree from Stern College for Women, Yeshiva University. Mrs. Gordesky has lived in Cherry Hill for over 30 years with her husband, Brad. They have three children and many grandchildren in Israel, Lakewood and Cleveland.
About Mrs. Hollander
Mrs. Hollander joined the Politz Administration in August 2023 as Judaic Studies Principal. Prior to joining Politz, Mrs. Hollander taught in a number of school the broad spectrum of Judaic subjects in grades 2-8. She has also written curriculum and mentored new teachers.Mrs. Hollander has lived in Cherry Hill for a number of years with her husband, Rabbi Hirsh and her six children, all of whom currently attend Politz.
About Mrs. Sammons
Mrs. Sammons has been at Politz since 1997! She received her BA in Psychology and an MA Special Education.
Previously, she taught in the Pennsauken Pre K program, was a Substitute Teacher for the Pennsauken School System, and worked at the Cerebral Palsy Center – Education Dept. Pennsauken, NJ.
She is married to her husband, William for 43 years, and has 3 children and 3 granddaughters.
About Mrs. Kelman
Mrs. Kelman joined Politz in 2022 as school counselor. Prior to working at Politz, she was a Clinician at Jewish Board of Family and Children’s Services, guidance counselor at Bruriah High and Middle School, camp mental health professional at Camp Gan Israel of Greater Philadelphia, and Substance abuse counselor at Phoenix Behavioral Health. Mrs. Kelman received a Masters degree from Yeshiva University’s Wurzweiler School of Social Work. She has lived in Cherry Hill since 2021 with her husband, Ashi, and 2 sons.
Rabbi Teichman moved to Cherry Hill in 2018 and joined Politz as a Middle School Judaic Rebbe. Previously, he was the Rabbinic Intern at Young Israel of Hewlett, and worked at Stars of Israel in Queens, New York and MTJ in Manhattan, NY. He received Semicha / Rabbinic Ordination from Rav Moshe Henimen in Baltimore Maryland, and additional Rabbinical training with National Counsel of Young Israel (receiving a post-graduate certificate in Advanced Rabbinic and Synagogue Management).
Rabbi Teichman lives in Cherry Hill with his wife, Tova, and children.
