About Rabbi Taban
Rabbi Taban received semicha from Talmudic University alongside a master’s in Jewish Studies. With over 30 years in Jewish education—including 26 years as Principal of Torat Hayim Hebrew Academy and six directing the Kriah Program at Kohelet Yeshiva—he brings deep expertise in leadership, curriculum, and faculty mentoring. Rabbi Taban is thrilled to join the Politz community.
About Ms. Mendoza
Ms. Mendoza, originally from Colombia, brings over a decade of U.S. teaching and leadership experience. Since joining Camden City School District in 2016 as a certified ESL teacher, she has served as an MTSS Coordinator, Data Lead, and Summer Program Supervisor. She holds a master’s in Inclusion and Multiculturalism and is dedicated to restorative, supportive learning environments.
About Morah Chani
Mrs. Felt oversees all aspects of the preschool with warmth, creativity, and a deep understanding of early childhood development. She fosters joyful learning through exploration and meaningful routines. You can contact her with any concerns regarding your preschool child or questions related to the preschool program.
About Mrs. Sammons
Mrs. Sammons has been at Politz since 1997! She received her BA in Psychology and an MA Special Education. Previously, she taught in the Pennsauken Pre K program, was a Substitute Teacher for the Pennsauken School System, and worked at the Cerebral Palsy Center – Education Dept. Pennsauken, NJ. She is married to her husband, William for 43 years, and has 3 children and 3 granddaughters.
About Mrs. Paris
Mrs. Paris manages all school-wide events with attention to detail and community spirit and oversees all marketing and branding efforts including the Politz Press. Her marketing efforts ensure Politz’s story is shared with warmth and clarity.
About Mrs. Holley
Mrs. Holley works in the front office and oversees ParentLocker, including coordinating Parent/Teacher conferences, and registration. Mrs. Holley also works together with our marketing team and coordinates classroom newsletters.
About Rabbi Teichman
Rabbi Teichman joined Politz in 2018 as a Middle School Judaic Rebbe. Ordained by Rav Moshe Henimen in Baltimore, he brings rich experience from Rabbinic roles across New York and holds advanced training in Rabbinic management. He lives in Cherry Hill with his wife, Tova, and their children.
